From Ningbo To The World An Inside Look At Our Cream Jar Production Process

We create cream jars right here in Ningbo, where rivers and sea meet, and they end up on dressing tables all over the world. Making these jars is more than just putting plastic together; it’s a step-by-step process that prioritizes quality at every stage. Let’s have a look at how we do it from the first material check to the moment the jars are shipped to you.

Step 1: Raw Material Inspection The First Line of Quality

Before anything else, we examine the raw ingredients. We use high-quality plastic pellets that are safe for cream storage. They will not react with the items inside. Our crew does not just choose a bag and start using it; we select random samples to test. We check if the pellets are the right color, free of tiny dirt particles, and meet safety rules. If even one sample does not meet our standards, we return the entire batch. Because a good jar begins with quality components. You wouldn’t build a building with shaky bricks, and we don’t make jars with flimsy plastic.

Step 2: Precision Injection Molding Where Jars Take Shape

The next step involves converting plastic pellets into jar parts using advanced equipment. Our workshop features rows of advanced injection molding machines. These devices heat the plastic pellets until they melt and form a smooth liquid. They next press this liquid into metal molds shaped like cream jar bodies and lids. The plastic cools quickly inside the molds, and in only a few seconds, we can open the mold to reveal a beautiful jar component.

These machines are extremely accurate; they ensure that every jar is the same size and form, whether it’s the first or thousandth. We keep the machines clean and inspect them every day to ensure they are functioning properly.

Step 3: Automated Decoration Line Making Jars Look Great

Once we have the plain jar parts, it’s time to add color and design. That’s where our automated decoration line comes in. This line can do two main things, silk printing and hot stamping. For silk printing, we use a special machine to press ink onto the jars, this is how we add logos colors or small designs. For hot stamping, we use heat to transfer shiny gold or silver foil onto the jars, which gives them a fancy look. This line is mostly automated, so it’s fast and doesn’t make mistakes. A jar goes in one end plain and a few minutes later, it comes out with a crisp clean design. We still have people checking the decorated jars, though just to make sure the ink doesn’t smudge and the foil stays on tight.

Step 4: Rigorous Quality Control Checking Every Jar

Quality Control

Quality control is where we make sure no bad jars get to you. Our QC team has special tools and a strict list of things to check. First, they look at the jars are there any scratches? Is the lid easy to open and close? Then they use machines to test the jars’ strength, can they hold up if you drop them? Do they keep cream fresh by not letting air in? Every jar goes through at least two checks, one after molding and one after decoration. If a jar fails any check, we set it aside it never gets shipped. Our QC team takes their job seriously because we know you don’t want a jar that breaks or doesn’t work.

Step 5: Secure Packing & Global Logistics Sending Jars Safely

Plastic Cream Jar

The last step is getting the jars ready to travel. We fill the boxes with soft foam or paper to stop the jars from moving around during shipping. Once the boxes are full, we stack them on pallets and wrap the pallets in plastic to keep them dry. Then we work with trusted logistics companies to send the jars all over the world. Whether the jars are going to a store in Europe a brand in the US or a seller in Asia, we track each shipment so we know exactly where it is. We make sure the jars get there on time and in the same good condition they left our factory in Ningbo.

Why Choose Steng?
